· All Tie Breaks will utilize the Coman Rotation.

· Match format will consist of a Coman 10-point Match Tiebreak in lieu of the third set.

· All courts should report their score immediately after their individual matches before watching their team, a winner and an opponent come to the desk to report the score together.

· When the team match is completed the captain from each team must go to the Tournament Desk, wearing their masks, to turn in scores and SIGN the scorecard.

Awards–
Champions and Finalists awards will be given out as play ends on Sunday or after completion of each division’s matches. The USTA Southwest Section, will provide up to 12 awards for each Champion and Finalist team. Additional awards may be purchased at the team’s expense.

SECTION COLORS
Show your Section colors! Each year, USTA National designates a color for a USTA Section to wear at National events. But, we like to extend that down to the Section event just so everyone can get ready and start getting used to the color. Our color for 2025 is ROYAL BLUE. If you need apparel that color, click HERE to purchase.

MATCH SCHEDULE
A final match schedule will be posted on TennisLink a week prior to the championships.

All teams should initially plan on playing all weekend, with match times beginning Friday morning and finishing by 2 pm on Sunday. Keep in mind you can be scheduled for any time! Captains Please Be Aware that our 40 & Over Section League Championship is a 4 Court Format including 1 singles court and 3 doubles courts.   However, the 40 & Over National League Championship is a 5 Court Format which includes 1 singles court and 4 doubles courts.  All Teams MUST have enough players attending to fill all courts for every match scheduled during the championship which may include up to 5 or 6 Team Matches for both events.

If only 3 teams are in the flight, they will play a Double-Round Robin.  Each Team would play 4 matches.

Any teams going home early or abandoning the event without tournament director permission will be subject to a sportsmanship grievance, which could result in penalties and suspensions to the entire team from the USTA League Program.
