The USTA is proud to invest $25 million annually across our national grant programs to grow the game of tennis and maximize its impact on individuals and communities nationwide. The directory below details all current national grant programs open for public application. To ensure long-term project success, most programs pair direct financial funding with comprehensive in-kind assistance and technical support. Looking for local funding? School Partner Program


This program provides comprehensive support school tennis programs, including free equipment, PE curriculum/videos, and coaching training.



USO Experience | Spring 2027

Net Generation US Open On-Court Experience


Connects youth participants with unique US Open experiences while encouraging long-term engagement with the sport.

David N. Dinkins HBCU Coaching Grant


A collaboration between the USTA DEI Department and USTA Coaching, thisi grant provides funding of up to $3,000 per varsity tennis program at federally recognized Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).

Althea Gibson HBCU Scholarships


In honor of Althea Gibson breaking the color barrier in tennis, these two scholarship programs support HBCU students either studying sports management or playing tennis.

Varsity College Connect


These two grants support the sustainability and community engagement of varsity college tennis programs.

Wheelchair Tennis Collegiate Program Grants


This grant supports colleges offering wheelchair tennis programming.

USA Tennis Excellence Grant


This grant program facilitates the development of U.S. Players (age 14-21), assisting them to reach the top 100 ATP/WTA ranked professionals.

Adaptive Grant


This program provides grants and resources to Adaptive (modified to include players of all abilities) tennis programs.

New College-On-Campus Team Grants


The Tennis On Campus (TOC) grant program supports new recreational, college tennis teams with at least 10 players on their roster.

Grassroots Wheelchair Grant


This intitiave initiative provides support for the development and promotion of an existing or planned Grassroots Wheelchair Program at a facility.

Microgrants


This annual, flexible grant program assists local, grassroots organizations grow the sport of tennis.

Tennis Venue Services


This program provides grant, technical and busines support for tennis court resurfacing, reconstruction and new construction.
