League Volunteer Award
PRESENTED AT
USTA Annual Meeting
ELIGIBILITY
Any non-current League Committee member at the National level.
Any current or non-current League Committee member at the Section level through Local level.
While individuals who play, captain or serve in other areas of the League Program will be considered, the priority will be placed on volunteer service to the League Program.
CRITERIA
Nominees will have enhanced the league player experience by developing and implementing a program and/or increased league participation or retention in their Section and Nationally. Years, type of service, awards, accomplishments and committee activity will be considered. Letters of recommendation and other documentation supporting the nominee are welcome.
SELECTION PROCESS
Each section may nominate only one person by the last Friday in June of each year. A subcommittee of the National League Committee will review the nominations and make the selection in July. The award recipient will be notified the first week of August and will be presented the award at the following year’s USTA Annual Meeting.
